Provenance: from a group of studies, doodles and sketches belonging to Montague Turland, partner in Casson's architectural practice

 

This is probably a scene in Majorca where Casson was working in the early 1970s. A Majorcan sketchbook of the artist is in the collection of the Royal Academy.
