Feibusch was a founder member of the AIA who as a German Jew had direct experience of Nazi persecution prior to his move to England in 1933. He was a talented commercial artist, producing posters for Shell (amongst others) in the 1930s. After the War he became one of the most prolific muralists in English churches.
